On special Sundays at Timberland Baptist we will be observing the Ordinance of the Lord's supper. Such Sundays will be announced in advance. We will also be enjoying special times of fellowship, such as potluck dinners on the grounds and seasonal gatherings such as at Easter and Christmas.

At regular intervals Timberland Baptist will be hosting special services as we have guest speakers and visiting missionaries. These are key times for us to focus on special subjects such as Christian missions and particular topics relevant to our Christian walk. These special services will be announced as early as possible on our website.

The main focus of the weekly services will be the expository preaching of God's Word, whether with a special series or individual messages devoted to a particular passage of Scripture. Pastor Hammond has completed several series from the scriptures since beginning Timberland Baptist. It is his heart-felt desire to preach the whole counsel of God by a systematic treatment of the entire Bible. With this emphasis on Scripture Timberland Baptist also encourages a daily Bible reading program among the fellowship for spiritual growth and understanding. As 2 Peter 3:18 exhorts us, "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Further, we have the promise of 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 that, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
